Client Contract (Service Agreement for Signature)

1. Parties

2. Scope of Work
The Designer agrees to provide web design and/or branding services as described in the Client's selected package or proposal. Any changes or additional work must be agreed to in writing.
3. Payment Terms
A non-refundable deposit is required to begin.

Work begins only after deposit is received.
Late or missed payments may pause or terminate the project.
4. Client Responsibilities

Any delays caused by missing materials or communication will extend the timeline.
5. Revisions
Each package includes a specified number of revision rounds. Additional revisions are billed at the Designer’s hourly rate.
6. Ownership & Hosting
Client is responsible for:
Squarespace hosting fees
Domain registration and renewal
Email hosting
The Designer does not pay hosting or domain fees.
Client owns all final design files and website upon completion and final payment.
7. Timeline
Timelines are estimates and depend on:
Client responsiveness
Availability of required materials
Platform-related disruptions
Projects inactive for 30+ days may be paused or rescheduled.
8. Refunds & Cancellation
All payments are non-refundable.
If the Client cancels early:
Work completed up to that date will be delivered "as is."
9. Portfolio Rights
Designer may showcase the Client's website in their:

Website
Social channels
Client may opt out by requesting this in writing before launch.
10. Liability & Limitations
Designer is not liable for:
Squarespace downtime or errors
Loss caused by third-party integrations
SEO or traffic performance
Changes made by Client after launch
11. Post-Launch Support
A post-launch support window (7–14 days based on package) is included. Additional support is billed separately.
12. Acceptance
By signing, paying a deposit, or booking services, the Client agrees to these terms.
