Terms of Service

Last Updated: 01/10/2026

Welcome to Greene Web Design! I’m so glad you’re here.
These Terms outline how my design services work, what you can expect from me, and what I expect from you. By booking a project, paying a deposit, or signing a proposal, you agree to the terms below.

1. Overview

I provide custom website design, brand refreshes, website updates, and related digital services for wedding venues and creative businesses. Each project includes only the items listed in the specific package you choose unless additional services are agreed upon in writing.

2. Client Responsibilities

To ensure a smooth and timely project, you agree to:

  • Provide all necessary content (photos, copy, brand assets, pricing details, etc.) by the deadline.

  • Respond to communication and revision requests within a reasonable timeframe (typically 2–3 business days).

  • Provide accurate information and grant access to your website platform when needed.

Delays in communication or missing content may extend the project timeline.

3. Ownership & Hosting Fees

You own your website and all content you provide.

You are fully responsible for paying and managing your own hosting fees, including:

  • Squarespace hosting plans

  • Domain purchase and renewal

  • Email hosting (Google Workspace, Microsoft, etc.)

I do not cover hosting or domain costs, and these fees are not included in any design package.

4. Payments

A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your project start date. The remaining balance is due according to the payment schedule outlined in your proposal or invoice.

Work does not begin until the deposit is received.

If a payment is missed or delayed, the project may be paused or rescheduled.

5. Revisions

Each package includes a set number of revision rounds. Revisions must be submitted within your project timeline.

Extra revisions beyond what is included will be billed at my hourly rate.

6. Project Timeline

Estimated timelines are provided to help guide the project, but they depend on:

  • Client responsiveness

  • Timely delivery of photos and content

  • Technical issues outside of my control (ex: Squarespace outages)

If a project is inactive for more than 30 days due to lack of response or missing content, it may be placed on hold and rescheduled at my discretion.

7. Refunds & Cancellations

Because design work requires dedicated time and customization:

All payments are non-refundable.

If you choose to end the project early, any completed work up to that point will be delivered “as is.”

8. Designer Portfolio Rights

I may display your finished website and related visuals in my:

  • Portfolio

  • Website

  • Social media

  • Marketing materials

If you prefer your project not be shared publicly, please request this in writing before your project launch.

9. Third-Party Tools & Technical Issues

I am not responsible for:

  • Platform errors or downtime (Squarespace, hosting services, email providers)

  • Issues caused by third-party integrations (HoneyBook, Dubsado, Calendly, etc.)

  • Changes made by the client after the project is complete

  • SEO ranking fluctuations

I do not guarantee specific results such as increased traffic, bookings, or revenue.

10. Post-Launch Support

Your package includes a limited support window—typically 7 to 14 days (depending on your service level)—for small adjustments or questions.

After the support window, ongoing updates or edits are billed separately or can be added through a maintenance plan.

11. Acceptance of Terms

By booking service, paying a deposit, or signing your proposal, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

If you have any questions before or during your project, I’m always happy to clarify.
